Cannot connect to EAS FC24 Ultimate Team

I just bought EAS FC24. I only play Ultimate Team content. It continuously comes back with “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the Main Menu” 

I have logged out, disconnected my XboxOne’s power source (hard reboot), searched for updates, and uninstalled/reinstalled the game several times. Nothing seems to fix it, not do I find a solid answer on any of the forums I’ve visited although it seems to be a problem for A LOT of people. What am I missing?
