Can't Play Evo Lounge Games. Opponent Search always returns "could not find..."

I am having the same problem except once it finally connects me to an opponent I revive the message immediately, “your opponent left the match” then my game just sits and spins with the background image and nothing can be done to change it other than force close the game. Only seems to be happening in evo lounge friendly mode. All other online modes are working fine.
