Controller does not work in Rivals and WL

I can no longer control my players or give them instructions. The selected player just runs straight until he walks out of the screen. If the player is changed by the "auto-switch", the newly selected player also immediately starts to run straight ahead. There is no reaction to button inputs. Shot, pass, sprint, player movement etc. are not executed.What should be happening instead? Controller should work‌For about a month now, all my controllers have stopped working in Rival online mode and in WL on PC.I can no longer control my players or give them instructions. Hey you found a fix yet? Its so annoying when I get this which is basically every match in rivals and champs now and I cant play the game properly so Ive just wasted my money, any new ideas? Ive basically triod everything you have and some more things as well with nothing working

I can relate. I bought this game for the main purpose of playing with friends and people. Sadly, I can't because EA FC24 has too many glitches like this one. For example, I tried to play Rivals but couldn't because it switched from mouse movement to WASD, and all the controls were different. Yesterday, I also encountered another glitch which didn't allow me to put any substitutes which stopped me from playing ultimate team the whole day. EA, I beg you, please fix these glitches, you're a big enough company to fix small problems that annoy your users.

@xyzetGGGuys try this,I don't know about origin,steam etc.But i use EA play app and always connect your controller before you start the game,If you connect your controller after opening game,it won't work in match.Hope it will help
