I have a ps4 controller and when it is plugged in it works on every game except the Fifa games. It stopped working on FIFA 23 and now it wont work on EA FC 24

Hi all. Managed to get around the issue by using a PS5 controller instead of xbox & it worked.

hi guys,i may have gotten the fix for all of us so HERE WE GO.
1.first the most important fix is to have original ps4/5 or xbox controller or it probably dont work with copy of the controller but you can try it.
2.this one will probably work for most of you guys
first install Xoutput,here is the link https://github.com/csutorasa/XOutput/releases/tag/3.32
and then you install vigem bus driver https://github.com/nefarius/ViGEmBus/releases
Then when you have done installing these open xoutput and make sure you connect your controller via usb and it will probaby pop out as like wirelles controller and some random numbers in xoutput.Then you have a little button add controller you add it and then configure all buttons on controller
When you have done that make sure xoutput stays opened all the time and enter the game.When you have entered the game set fps to lock 30,i dont know why but when you play on no limit it just doesnt work but when its on 30fps it works perfectly.And thats it guys hopefully this works for all of you,wish you all the best🙂
Brotha I aint playing on 30 freakinf fps, that's unplayable, game worked for me amazing until the last patch! This is still not solved!
