@EA_Darko
DualSense 5 Edge, DualSense 5, *and* Xbox Elite, wireless Logitech gaming KB and mouse using USB dongles, no Bluetooth (Bluetooth doesn't work for DS5 Edge, hangs on loading screen if using Bluetooth; Bluetooth does work for Xbox Elite, but I don't use it).
Some more details about the problem based on my observations...
- Most problematic symptom of this problem is the controller going completely unresponsive during a match. Quickest way to fix it is to disconnect the USB cable and reconnect it, but obviously this is a significant issue the higher up you play because a lot of in-game time is lost and usually your opponent has a significant advantage because for me, the user, the game is temporarily unplayable.
- The issue shows up with DualSense 5 Edge, DualSense 5, and Xbox Elite controllers, all of which I have and have tested
- Steam and EA app both have the problem, so it doesn't matter how you got the game or what client is used to launch it
- Disabling Steam controller doesn't have any effect (problem persists)
- Using 3rd party emulation software such as DualSenseX has no effect (problem persists)
- Problem happens on every PC (I have several) and it happens every time I play though not in every game
- Disconnecting other USB devices makes no difference, though I did not try explicitly disconnecting both the keyboard and a mouse (this would be a rather odd conflict)
- In almost 100% of cases, it is impossible to properly navigate menus in the game with the controller. For example, training menus cause issues with navigation, as do settings. Settings are probably the most obvious and easiest to reproduce because 9.9/10 times they don't work for me (pressing up/down for example to navigate results in the selection just being stuck on a specific item)
- Completely and cleanly reinstalling the game has no effect
This issue (in some form or another) was present in older versions of the game as well. I recall it occurring in FIFA 22, though it is to my observation much more common and frequent in FC 24 (it happens in >40% of matches).
