Crossplay problem inviting from Xbox Series to PS5

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This bug happens in both FUT online friendlies and normal friendlies outside of FUT 1. The bug happens when trying to invite to a friendly match a PS5 player from an Xbox Series console. 2. Be sure that crossplay is enabled under the EAFC settings and on the respective dashboard settings on both consoles. Be sure that both accounts are shown under the friends list in the EA Connect menu (RT/R2). Be sure that both accounts are shown as online there on each other console. 3. On an Xbox Series console go to friendlies and try to invite the PS5 player
What happens when the bug occurs? It is impossible to play a friendly match if the invitation is sent from an Xbox Series to a PS5. 4. The result is either: a) Most of the time on the screen "Invite a friend" you get a screen with a message saying "No available friends" even if the PS5 account is shown as online on the EA Connect menu. b) At times when the PS5 account is shown under "Invite a friend" on the Xbox console and you send the invite, when the PS5 player tries to accept the invite he/she only gets a message saying "xxxx sent you a lobby invite / Cross-play is not enabled for this lobby".
What should be happening instead? The online PS5 account should be shown on the "Invite a friend" screen on the Xbox Series. AND at the times when the Xbox manages to send the invite, it should be possible to accept it on the PS5 instead of getting that error message.

Extra info:

Both the Xbox Series and the PS5 have open NAT (tested from the dashboard settings).
Initiating the invitation from the PS5 works as it should, the bug only happens when the Xbox is the one initiating the invitation.
The game is updated on both consoles to the latest version
Other multiplayer games work completely fine.
We have tested with several Xbox consoles and different accounts. It hasn't been possible to invite from the Xbox side.
The problem is exactly the same in FIFA 23. Not possible to invite from the Xbox side but if you initiate the invitation from the PS5 everything works fine.
