EA connect error - The server encountered an unexpected condition

I have had this same error for over a month now. The error has nothing to do with gameplay or connection ingame but rather a bug with ea connect in the menu. it wont show my online friends even thoug...

i had this problem and i didnt want to uninstall the game so what i did is move the game files in another document, uninstall then reinstall the ea play, move the game files back then restart the launcher. this worked for me
