I was playing career mode and i had a long penalty shootout in the Carabao Cup, ended up winning 11-10 on pens, but then the game recorded it as a 10-7 win to the other team, which is a penatly shootout scoreline which is not even possible.
Mate I’ve just had this taken Wrexham to the semi finals of the Fa cup go to penalties with Brighton and won 11-10 on pens and it’s said i’ve lost 10-8. Actually fuming
Just had this issue as well. Took my team to the FA Cup semi and won 14-13 on penalties but game recorded it as a 13-4 loss lol.
Wild that it's March and still an issue. I just had this in a World Cup semi final. Score should've been England 13-12 Norway but somehow showed up as a 13-3 shootout win to Norway (obviously an impossible score) and they're now in the final.

The new title comes out NEXT month and this JUST happened to me AGAIN.
Yesterday I lost to Leeds with Plymouth 14-13 in the carabao cup semi final and it said I won. Went on to win it.
Next season I've beaten West Brom first round 10-9 after 14 shots each and it's advanced West Brom.
It seems if it goes more than 10 kicks, you should lose on purpose as it flips the results.
The new title comes out in 10 days and this just happened to me.
Unbelievably this glitch is still in EA FC 25!? Won a penalty shootout in Champions League Quarter final only for game to record I lost 11-6.
Exact same thing happened to Goldbridge in his Man Utd career mode shootout against Bournemouth...New game and the glitch is still there
