EA FC 24 error there is a problem with your games setup

Hi all. 

I cant access the game. Once I've downloaded it stays 'there is a problem with your games setup. Please reinstall your game. 

I have emailed EA who have told me to come here and ask for help. I have already downloaded the DirectX run time and the feature media that other places advise me to download but I am still getting the error message. 

I have also downloaded PGA Tour and F1 23 and I'm able to play them fine. Its just EA FC24 which I am not able to play. I have reinstalled 6 times and still no joy.

This error often happens due to missing Windows updates etc. See if you have any pending Windows Updates.

Follow this link on our website for more staps. 

Try to install the previous Microsoft Visual C++ packages. 

Ive tried all of the above and still I get the error message. 

When I click on manage it always says repair. So i press repair and it says the repair was complete followed immediately by the same error message 

Im now getting this issue.... its been 6 days and im still no closer to playing the game.... The only reason I bought EA Pro for a month. 

Ive successfully played PGA Tour and F1 23 - but still not FC24

What else can i try? because non of these fixes are working - ive tried everything thrown at me

Try to change the game installation folder from the EA app settings and install it again on a different drive if possible. 

Install also Media Feature Pack 

Make sure that your antivirus is not blocking the game, so please add EA app and the game to its exceptions list. 

Send us your DxDiag report so we can check other details.

I got the same problem. "There is a problem with game setup, please reinstall." (ofc. in my local language). In fact this is my son's game. He bought it.

I tried everything because the same issue we had with FIFA23. I spent many days doing what different tutorials recommended. My son never played FIFA 23 despite he spend money, he couldn't do a return because counter was more than 2h playing (in fact only of trying to launch). This week he bought FC24. And the problem is the same. After Anti-cheat run for a minute we got the error. I attach dxdiag. Please help us.
