EA FC 24 freezing/speed up lag ingame
Hi, I have EA FC 24 on PC, got ultimate edition so I've played it for a week now, and at first, I had stuttering, lag and speed up lag, but I changed some settings and other things and that got fixed...

I finally found a solution. I was facing the same issue (Speed up Lag) and I tried a couple of things that didn't work out in the beginning such as setting all the graphic settings to low in the game and I even tried playing on 60Hz instead of 144 and turning the playstyle plus indicator off, I was also sure it wasn't a ping issue because my ping was stable and other games like Valorant worked absolutely fine.
ANYWAYS last thing I tried was I went to graphics settings on the PC and under "Graphics Performance Preference" there is "Choose an app to set preference". click on Browse and Choose EA launcher and Steam. my friend told me to choose FC24 but I couldn't find it so I just picked both of these. I also changed the game to Windowed instead of Full Screen. I played 10 games now with no speed up lag except for my first game where it only happened once and then it was completely gone.
NOTE : I still have graphics settings set to low. I am not sure if it is necessary to have them on low and play on "Windowed" but this is what worked for me. I will try to play on better graphics and Full Screen and if there's no speed up lag then it means you only have to set preference to Steam and EA launcher. I hope this helps and tell me if it works for you.
Hmm, weird. I tried that a couple of weeks ago, but didn't see any difference. The latest thing that fixed it for me, after resetting my pc, was to turn on VSYNC in the nvidia control panel and in game. I set it to 120fps and now I dont lag at all. Tried higher but the lag came back for some reason, but atleast now I don't have speed up lag or major lag issues. Haven't tried playing on windowed mode tho, will try that aswell.
