EA FC 24 on Nintendo switch oled gameplay glitch pause

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When I get onto career mode manager, always the first game, sometimes the second and occasionaly the third time I try to play the match, the first half runs smoothly, but then it just pauses and stays in the same postion unless i restart the application and when this happens, during the first half it won't pause if i press the pause button. Once i do it atleast 2 times, then it'll start working fine.
What happens when the bug occurs? What should be happening instead? Instead, it should pause when I pause the game and it should seamlessly let me move on to the second half and not just glitch out.
