Experiencing ramping input delay as online games progress (on PC). Starts off ok by the end of the game there's around a full 1.5s->2s delay to anything i do making the game completely unplayable.
Internet is fine doesn't happen in any other games. Done the connection test, tried turning everything on and off changing dns servers etc.
I've also tried changing different visual settings as some other threads said that changing to windowed borderless and uncapped fps.
Making this post as some of those threads have been marked as "fixed" when it really really is not fixed. It's unplayable.
Edit: Forgot to mention it's not FPS related, getting consistent smooth 120ish fps.

I recently purchased EA Play Pro to try out the new soccer game (and others), but whenever I load up into the game at the profile settings screen it never registers any input unless I hold down the button/key, and on the menus my joystick will not register unless I hold it in whatever direction I choose. I have this issue with my Xbox One controller in both a wireless and wired setting as well as when trying to use my wired keyboard. I have this same issue with Madden 24 and FIFA 23, but I seemingly have no issue if I try to play FIFA 22 and my controller inputs react normally in FIFA 22 as they do in every other game I play/try. I have also tried opening it through Steam with their controller functions but that has not affected my problem.

I have fixed this issue for myself and am posting what I did in case anyone else runs into this issue. Further diagnosis showed that my Xbox controller was showing up as Player 3 in the kick-off menu and remapping settings. I use Windows 10 and found an "extra" USB composite device connected in the Bluetooth device settings menu. Deleting that and restarting the game has my controller function correctly and have no input delay.

I play any offline match and it works fine (Squad Battles, Career Mode, Kick-Off, etc) and when I play an online match for the first 10 / 15 in-game minutes the gameplay is fine but then I huge amount of input lag kicks in and makes the game unplayable.
I didn't pay for the game to just play offline. EA fix your servers and fix your ping compensation between players. If someone has a bad connection it's not my problem because this is probably happening because of that. I've got pretty good internet.
I've tried "solutions" that other people posted but none of them work. I know my system isn't the problem.
Dear EA, you never fail to disappoint when it comes to dissapoint your customers. 🙂

Hi,
thats the situation on my PC, i cant find a solution. I have video gameplay of the imput delay that i have only in online games.
The left pad is the local one, the right is the response online
PC specs are in video description, the video quality should get better in 45 min.
FIX THE GAME!

Hi, I have been having a problem on pc. It started when i was playing EA FC 24, When i play Single Player the button inputs are on point when i press the buttons on the controller.
But the problem is every time i enter an online match be it ultimate team or what eveer game mode that involves online play, i press the button to shoot the ball for example and it would register 2-3 seconds later in game. Every time i pause as well i get the prompt that i asked to pause and it does it late.
The problem is only in online play, I have tried both wifi and wired internet connection, i have tried both wired and wireless connection on my controller. I have well above the recommended specs for the game (EA FC 24), this problem has been on going ever since the end cycle of FIFA 23.
The game is unplayable at this point because my opponent is not affected by this input delay and the game runs normally with no stutters but the problem is that the controller is registering commands too late 2-3 seconds late to be precise
EA FC 24 are the only game that this happens to me.
Please help EA support.
