Ea FC 24 When Playing Online there is huge delay when i press the controller

I have the same issue... and according to the link to check connection quality i'm getting this. 

 19.38 ms

 0.75 ms

 0.05 %

So i'd imagine I shouldn't be having any input delay issues ? Someone suggested if you are using anything above 60hz like 130/144 to drop it to 60hz and 60 fps lock so will try this while we wait but don't see how this would only affect online games.. surely would feel it offline also ?.
