EAFC24 Cant control players in Online games

As the title says, I cant play online games, as soon as I jump in I cant control any players, my controller becomes useless ingame, but as soon as the ingame menu comes up its fine? Ive tried veryfying my game files, Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and ive tried keyboard and mouse, I use an xbox controller plugged in via usb to my computer, and thats not the problem, I think its a software issue. Any help please its so frustrating I can only do offline games.

    What worked for me is going to setting and deleting all the saves and stuff for clubs and ultimate team then resetting my game and when i loaded back into ultimate team I did a download and my game worked again
