Extreme Delay/Glitch With Controller on PC FC24 Online Gamemodes

I have been playing Ultimate Team with a controller plugged into my PC, it works well on game modes like squad battles and other offline game modes. However, in online game modes like division rivals there is so much delay it is unplayable. Most times there is so much delay that I cannot switch players, other times just varying delays and bad lag. It worked fine even in online modes for about 4 days, but now it isn't good. I have used multiple different controllers, cables, and USB ports on my PC. My PC has good benchmarks way above the recommended for EAFC. I have made sure I have no overlays or screen recorders on and even tried unplugging my mouse and keyboard during and before the game.

It is annoying since I have spent money on upgrading my team, but cannot put it to use due to extreme lag in the game. also, I cannot qualify for modes like Champions because I lose every game 8-0 every time I want to test a new solution to my problem.

Before loading into the game on the screen where you select your kit, it says I have a good connection and only about 20 ping, due to having wired internet. this shows that my wifi isn't the issue and that the poor connection is not on my end. Even in the menu and cutscenes straight after the game it is not laggy and works perfectly fine, this also shows that the input delay has something to do with the UT online game servers.

I would like to know a fix to this issue, I'm assuming there is one because my online games were working fine a couple of days ago. I have also seen other people with similar issues regarding the game's response to controller input and I am sure they would like to know a reliable solution also.
