Was having some issue but figured out I wasn’t holding down x long enough. Now I noticed it actually gradually slides along the “activate evolution” on screen as you keep holding down x. As you get the whole way across the screen it activates. Hope this helps.
I am playing on Switch and I have the same problem.
But unline in your case even though I am pressing X (on the switch in that case A) long enough and the "Activate" button gradually turns green the active EVO player does not change.
Same here I'm trying to put Socrates in to evo on switch and it doesn't do anything.
when I hold A it shows the a button appear next to start evo but doesn't do anything
Did you get this issue resolved, by chance? I'm unable to select any eligible player ans have tried holding (A) down longer than 60 seconds and nothing happens
Held it down for 60 seconds doesn't do anything
Pressing and holding worked perfectly for me on PS5, thank you so much, it was really stressing me out!
bro thank u for saying this. I just kept tapping X.... damn I feel stupid, when i realised I should hold X down. but thank U.
- @JNP9 U litterally made my day. bruh I feel stupid now when Ive used my time tapping my X button almost out of the controller, to find out its supposed to be hold down...
It wont start the evolution if i hold through the whole bar
