FC 24 crashing after splash screen is done loading

when booting up fc 24 my splash screen shows up like normal but when the splash screen finishes loading the fc 24 box opens in the corner like normal for 3 seconds but then crashes and sends me back ...

Try also deleting the existing settings folder (you can create a copy of it first.) 

 The general location is %USERPROFILE%\Documents\FC 24\settings
