I've also had this problem before. What you need to do is delete your profile and make a new one. Don't worry it won't delete your online data, it will only delete offline data.
Every time I enter the game, random colours start to flash after choosing the my profile. I can here the ea intro just fine while the screen is flashing. Then, when I get into the home menu of the game, I can see the football field background and everything, but I cannot see the options like kick off and ultimate team in the menu screen. When I move the joystick, I can hear the audio cue for selecting the options, and I can even click on the options, and the background on the screen will change, but the menu will not be shown.
I have tried:
repairing game files, reinstalling games, and updating graphics drivers.
