fc24 final match cant save

I’m running into a frustrating issue in EA Sports FC 24.

The game saves properly up until the final match, but it fails to save the actual result after the whistle blows. After the final is over and the tournament ends, clicking forward just kicks me back to the main menu without showing any saving options.

Every time I reload, the game acts like the match never happened and forces me to play the exact same final game all over again
