Can someone from EA please take a look at this common issue with EA Sports FC24 not adhering to the parental restriction settings configured on the PS4 console and provide us with a solution or a timeframe for a resolution?
In a nutshell:
- The game is rated PEGI-3 so should be able to be played by anyone over the age of 3
- Unless the age restriction on a child account on PS4 is set to level 5 (12+) the game is not even able to be launched.
- Even if PS4 parental restrictions are removed completely (i.e. access to online game play is agreed) it is not possible for a child account to play online.
- This was not an issue with FIFA22 or FIFA23
Other support threads complaining of the same issue:

Edit: Removed mass tagging. This is against the Answers HQ rules. Please avoid this going forward. Thank you. -CM
@EA_Aljo noted re the rules around mass tagging, it is frustrating however that EA are refusing to acknowledge this as an issue and are refusing to reply to these threads.
Please be advised that this IS an issue with PS4, it IS NOT expected behaviour and this can be evidenced by virtue of the fact that it works fine on PS5, and it also works fine on FIFA22 and FIFA23 on PS4.
This is a BUG with how EA Sports FC24 interacts with the parental control settings, specifically on PS4.
Please investigate and provide a solution and/or a timeframe for resolution of the issue.

If a child is under the age limit for their region, they are not able to join in multiplayer games. This is not something we can change.
