Forced to play with 10 men

Product: EA SPORTS FC 24
Platform:PlayStation 5

What is your Gamertag/PSN ID/Switch ID? bestindgame
Which mode has this happened in? Seasons (Head to Head)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? As soon as you start a game on seasons
What happens when the bug occurs? A player (Vinicius) runs off the pitch in a glitched manner, stays there and Bellingham is subbed out for him after the ball goes out of play even though they are both already in the game. After this happens, Bellingham is removed from the game dropping me to 10 players without even getting a red card. Additionally I am unable to make any substitutions. 
What should be happening instead? 11 men on the pitch, as it should be, as any game would start off as.

EA FC keeps forcing me to play with 10 as soon as I start a seasons head to head. This has been happening for 4 games now even after restarting the game.

    Hey All, 

    Please make sure that you have the latest squad updates installed. You can reset and redownload the squad updates from the main menu (Customize > Profile > Delete). Additionally, changing the lineup formation may help with this issue.

    Same problem. Vinicius and Curtois disappeared and had to play with 9 players and no keeper.

    I tried uninstalling the game and even restarted my PS5 twice and the issue was still persistent. I feel that EA FC will need to update the game itself because it's just too buggy from the gameplay and more.

    I have the same issue, from the line-up Kross has disappeared, not even on the bench, and when the game begins Vinicius is missing, I have tried to substitute him for another player but still,I  am playing with 10 players.

    +1 Same issue using France in Seasons.

    Platform: PC *and* Xbox  

    - Keeper (Maignan) disappears at random. (still listed as in game in the Team management menu) 
    - Mbappe literally walks off the pitch within the first 3 game minutes  like he was subbed out with no replacement and will still be listed as in-game in the team management menu

    - Impossible to make substitutions in the Team Management menu

    Crazy.
