Game cannot lunch, blue screen

Bluescreen issues are outside of the scope of support we provide here as they generally indicate an issue outside of our games.

Some general troubleshooting steps:

Make sure all available Windows Updates and hardware driver updates are installed

actually this is EA doing @EA_Barry  not trying to be that type of guy but this is because of the Kernel Anti-cheat that EA wants to do if you dont believe me there a 9 page thread up in battlefield https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Blue-Screen-of-Death-after-closing-BF2042/m-p/13118630#M54039 and @MannamedJacob your not the only one that dealing with this it something to do with the New Kernel Level of EA anti-cheat that EA made that is cause PCs to crash. and before anyone fire back at me COD has Kernel level anti-cheat and they dont crash my pc. Sorry @EA_Barry i would make sure give the right info before saying this is out side of our Realm of help

@MannamedJacob You can trying some of the Suggestion that Rokebo73 Posted in the Battlefield Theard other then that you can make sure all your Drivers are up to date like Chipsets and all that you can use CCleaner to. or Rokebo73 suggested a Clean Wipe of OS to try if that fixes things

Same problem for me, same windows error but it appears when I exit the game. EA are * idiots.

just to Prove the point after every game of Battlefield 2042 when i close the screen with the new Kernel Level Anti-Cheat this is the bluescreen Mind you this is only with EA Anti-cheat that at the Kernel level even ctrl-alt-delete it to close it and got a blue screen. FYI this is off of a Clean OS in May

The problem with the BSOD and the message: KERNEL APC PENDING DURING EXIT seems to be due to the ASUS drivers:

system32\drivers\AsIO2.sys
system32\drivers\AsIO3.sys

and has only occurred since the 06 season, or to be more precise only since the switch from Easy Anti-Cheat to EA Anti-Cheat.

It also seems to be the case that all users of this forum post who have this problem own and use an ASUS or Asrock motherboard.

If you deactivate these ASUS drivers, you can easily exit Battlefield 2042 (without the aforementioned BSOD and I assume that this would work exactly the same with FC24, but I can't test this because I don't own this game).

All the troubleshooting that has already been done:
- repaired Battlefield 2042
- repaired EAAntiCheatService
- Re-installed Battlefield 2042
- Re-installed EAAntiCheatServices
- DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /CheckHealth
- DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /ScanHealth
- DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth
- sfc /scannow
- emptied %temp% directory
No errors were found during the check for all DISM commands and the sfc command.

If further information is required, please let me know (I am available for troubleshooting) 😉
