Game crashes when opening squad hub

As others have mentioned, and it is in my case, this can happen when a Created Player is in the squad of Career Mode. The player disappears from the squad which then causes an error when trying to open Squad Hub.

My workaround that I just tested out was releasing that created player before it disappears. In my case, I release him from my team after the last game of the season. Hope this solution works for you guys also

Though you might keep posting EA has decided not to resolve this.

Fix did not work for PS5

I have reinstalled the game, rebuilt database and searched for updates

Please release a fix as this has ruined my enjoyment of the career mode which is the only reason I play

ive had a similar issue for a while but it dont happen until 3 years into the save. i have lost 3 saves due to this and have wasted my time making new careers for the same thing to happen again. i have already raised this issue in the past. a small fix wass shown to me that has only worked once and that same save was lost for the same reason upon opening year 4!

I found the same issue. Anytime I selected Squad Hub in career mode the game crashed. I discovered then that players I created in the editor had been deleted (not by me). It appears they vanished following the Euro24 update. I deleted the game and created new players before starting a new career mode. Career Mode is working OK after this.
