Golden Glow up evolutions reset

So using the live chat I opened a case for the bug thats been resetting people's evolutions progress

Today I've checked on the progress and the case has been closed and under the resolution it states "no fix available"

So....how are we meant to move on with this? Is this bug just random? Is it tied to certain players? Or tied to our accounts? 

Something like this would obviously have a significant effect on how we play going forward and is there any chance we can get some feedback on what's happening?
