Today at 17:30 Portugal time i opened a 89 exchange pack and received a gold Virgil Van dijk. As This was during Premier League Team Of The Season, i should've gotten the TOTS version of the card but instead got the gold. Can this be fixed?Best regards,Diogo Santos

Hi @dgcsantos, Our Team confirmed that there was no issue with the content's release, so you received the right version of the player. I also want to remind you that Premier League TOTS items were available until May 3rd at 4:59 PM UTC.

@dgcsantos As far as I know, you cannot get gold version of any player when TOTS version in packs. I am pretty much sure on this.You keep saying you got the pack, the timing matter here is when we open the pack. According to their system, you have opened the pack, after PL TOTS expired.

Yesterday (3rd of May) at 17:30 PM UK time, it was not out of packs, hence i did NOT receive the correct version.

I did, they told me to report a bug here, so i am not hopeful that they will fix this.

@sanket_360 I did that. They acknowledged that the wrong reward was given but said that unfortunately it could not be compensated. Then they encouraged me again to post here. They implied that the TOTS version was not available on the 89 OVR exchange sbc, to which i complained because its deceitful. They then did a quick search and told me that i did not get gold VVD on May 3rd but instead on 12th October 2023. When i explained that date might've been the first time i packed gold VVD, they said that it was the information that they could provide me with. I replied that i wanted to file a complaint, to which the EA employee said he needed to close the chat, and did so abruptly. I was staggered by the lack of effort they put into solving issues of their making

I suppose this issue will remain unadressed. Cannot say i am surprised. I am honestly tired of dealing with EA's dishonesty, atleast on FC24.

@EA_LeonSK I got the pack with Virgil Van Dijk at aprox 4:30 PM UTC (5:30 PM portugal time).
What EA could not explain to me was if it was possible to get the gold version while the promo was still active, because i am sure the promo was active
If both versions were available at the time, while deceitful, there would be no bug so i could not complain. Otherwise, if there should be only one version active, then it was a bug and that was the reason i opened the chat with EA.
Is it possible to get gold version of Virgil Van Dijk during PL TOTS?
