How to fix "EA app is not installed and is required to play your game" EAS FC 24

That issue has something to do with anti-cheat modifications. Yesterday everything worked fine. By fine I mean I could start the game using "offline mode" approach mentioned on forums (this is another issue yet to be fixed). Today I get this error out of nothing.

@Heman_Superman i tried the clean boot with only EAbackground and the anticheat service and the error still occurs unfortunately

This thread is only for the "EA app is not installed and is required to play your game" error when launching EAS FC 24 for PC!

Thanks for reaching out about this!

If you're still running into this same error, could you please share the following information with us here in the thread:

Your EA app Error Report ID,

Which version of the EA app you're running,

Which version of the game you have bought,

If you have pre-ordered the game via the EA app/Epic/Steam/3rd party code, or via EA Play Pro.

To check which version of the EA app you're running: open the EA app > Click on the hamburger menu in the top-left corner > Click on 'About' and please mention the App version. It should look something like "App version: 13.27.0".

Mine keeps saying I need the ea app to play fc24 and to reinstall but I loaded the game from the ea app.
