I can't open any packs

So I accidentally discarded an evolution in progress and I went to the companion app to get this player back. But after I did it the player never came back and now I cannot open packs because the player is somehow in the ''it seems you have items to manage before you can move forward screen'' when I want to go to the store to open packs. And when I hit ok I get an error message saying. ''there was a problem communicating with the football ultimate team servers, please try again later''. Because of this bug/glitch I cannot open any packs and miss out on all the promo's that are going on right now. EA please fix htis and compensate all the players who have faced this issue. I litterally payed a whole weekend league and cannot even open my rewards.
