Had the same issue, tried everything to resolve but nothing worked. Found in another question on here that it's an issue with (CDM) evolution players, I took my Conor Gallagher out of my team and it now works.
Every time I try and play EA FC 24 Ultimate Team division rivals and get through the team lineup intro scene, I get kicked out of the game just before kick off with an error message. It’s been impacting me for almost 24 hours and only happens in rivals. I’m currently playing on PS5. Can someone please help? I’ve tried resetting my internet and network setting and nothing seems to work.
ive had this same issue with rivals and champs, have spoken to ea help many times and to no avail
I jumped on live chat and got nothing, they just said someone would investigate.

I am struggling to enter Division Rivals within Ultimate team. Every time I hit onto play rivals, it goes to a loading screen and then back out to the option of playing rivals, it does not even make it as far as seeing my own squad, it is like this for all playing lobbies and won’t let me play???

I'd recommend trying removing CDM evolution players from your team - that seems to have worked for a few people.
