I don't play offline, apart from Squad battles " Which needs a connection" And I'm on xbox but have you tried a moblie hotspot? I'm not sure now PS5 works but on xbox I would go to EAFC manage game and clear Reserved space and saved data.
And once you log onto the game again it will resync data.
Could be completely different on ps5 and probably won't work anyway.

@NornIron11 Thanks for the suggestion. I've done the equivalent of that on PS5, deleted saved data and all but didn't work for me. Thanks again though
