Login verification code sent but cannot enter the code

A few days ago I was asked to verify my identity on ea fc24 (old version of the game) I wasn’t receiving my code through email so I did it through phone then I actually received it but when I put the code into the game and press continue nothing happens, it shows me pressing continue but nothing comes from this just the same screen with my code, I have spoke to live help chat form ea a few times and all the steps they have given me haven’t fixed it as I think it’s an internal game issue not a data issue with my console. Anybody get the same issue or can help ?
