Hi all!
After testing everything I've read on these posts here, I've finally managed to get FC 24 running smoothly on my laptop ( 32GB Ram, Ryzen 5600H CPU, RTX 3060 laptop GPU).
Just wanted to share my experience with all, thinking it might turn out useful for some here.
So, here we go:
Turned off game mode in Windows 11 - the most substantial improvements by far (I saw some who didn't notice anything though).
In the Nvidia control panel I've added the game (it wasn't listed) and turned vsync off, maximum performance mode + a few other changes that I can't exactly recall: but you'll find them listed here in the forum.
In game settings are:
Refresh rate 144
Vsync off
Dynamic res off
Full frame rate
Everything is on ultra
Strand based hair on
PlayStayles+ indicator is off
And I've installed Bogo 366's mod: cut-scene stutter fix with the FIFA mod manager tool. Small tool, big impact. 10x @Bogo366 !!!
Now the game is unrecognizably different.
BTW reducing the game speed still makes the defenders not run as they should.
@ThraxFourTwo interesting, but can I use this mod in ultimate team?
@GuilhermePivaI don't really play online, but what I've saw people saying is that no one using mods to alter graphics and such have ever been banned by EA.
Specifically, using Fifer's mods for FIFA 23 has not ever got anyone banned.To clarify: this is to what I remember reading. Even though I seldomly play online I was interested in the matter - no one wants to get banned.
