PC Stuttering EAFC 24
G'day all! I'm currently having weird stuttering issues in the game. I've tried multiple combinations of graphics and video settings (via the in game menu settings) and I can't erase the issue. It ha...
hello all i think i have managed to sort out the stuttering on my game by going to nvidia control panel/manage 3d settings/program settings then select fc24 then go down and change the virtual reality pre-rendered frames setting to 4 ..... obviously do what every one else has suggested in the main game menus but this is the setting for me that really sort of sealed the deal .....i know this won't work for everyone....hope it helps
it works mate.. but there is input delay... for me game changer is to turn off hardvare accelerated GPU... it stopped laging... at least gameplay
strange....i literally have the same input delay which is near none ..... all pc's are different i suppose hahah ...i wonder if we will ever get an optimized pc experience
Hello EA... We are here!
They don't care they don't have the capacity to optimise their game for PC. If you have a console next year you're just gonna have to switch like me. Never buy an EA game on PC again their company STINKS
have same problem with 13400f and 3070ti. tried every setting but it use my cpu %100
day 176 of trying to optmize the game, unsuccessfully.
I have 135 hours on steam, 100h testing the optimizations and 35h playing.
outside the game, I have like 230 hours of setting.
Pretty fun game, I reccomend to buy 👿
I literally tested my connection on the EA connection test and it said 96/100 meaning I shouldn't get any stuttering right? Wrong, I have tried to fix this issue for months and its literally impossible plus EA won't even try since they care more about console than pc.
Yeah bro i've tried it to and got 98/100 but in game it feels like i've got 200 ping. EA is spiting in our face literally.
Guys, There is no news from the EA, so I will continue to try my best to make the game experience better! I am using a laptop, I had disabled the CPU boost, but when I enabled it, the cutscene problem was reduced a lot.

Nah you’re partially right but trust me they have the capacity to optimize but they don’t see a reason. The company doesn’t care about the consumer just the profit line. People who buy Fifa/FC aren’t normally hardcore pc people who even realize that a game can be just ported like fc24. So they get away with not releasing a finished product on pc which imo should be completely illegal.
....
Just for context i quote my discussion:
"Hello everyone, i have EA FC 24 for PC on EA App, Nvidia GTX 1060, i am sure that at setup something goes wrong, for a while I was able to play well and the game ran smoothly, except for some bugs in the menus, but I had to delete the 'FC24' file in documents every time I started it. One day, looking for a permanent solution, I deleted the settings file from the screen that comes out when the game starts, but from there the game became unusable. I'm sure that some files are mishandled at startup, but I'm afraid I can't fix it myself. I have already uninstalled the game and also the EA app 3 times, last night I wasted 3 hours after uninstalling to delete all EA related files on my PC thinking there was some file that kept ruining the gaming experience, when I started it for the first time I played 10/15 games without any problems, it's a shame that this morning I turned on the PC and when I started playing the stuttering was back and the game wasn't enjoyable. I hope that mine experience can be useful to the developers to understand where the problem lies, at least in my case I am quite sure that there is something to fix in the game's startup routine, because there is a huge difference between one startup and another. This is software related not hardware or video card settings etc. Also because I can play much heavier games with the same PC (Hogwarts Legacy).
Maybe it's not stuttering, i don't know how to say It in english, but the game is not smooth, and it didn't happen when I delete files in documents at the game starts, so i don't think it Is VGA problem. The game goes smooth or not based on how i handle the FC24 files, so the problema it's on this files and them handling."
I found a workaround, it has not any sense, but the problem it's with the settings override made by the EA app/server at the start of the game. So it consist in:
It worked for me, i played really smooth without doing any change to my vga settings or other things, in my case it is just some problem with settings.
It's just a temporary solution and doing it is very annoying and time consuming, so I hope we will have a permanent solution soon, I recommend taking a look at how the EA servers or the EA Desktop application overwrite or modify the settings in the FC24 folder (in documents) at startup
This issue has occurred since October after I installed some title updates (before it ran very smoothly), then I had to delete the FC24 folder in document everytime launch game and it worked until yesterday I installed the lastest update via steam and now the game lag at corner, cutscene and shuttering during match. I tried to play Volta and it's very smooth, very disappointed in the way ea devs optimize fc24 on PC. please give a fix asap, been waiting too loooong to play a normal fifa game ☹️(

Did you find a final workaround? I have the same Nvidia 1060 on my laptop and I have played fluently a few times. It is random because sometimes it works fine, but most it works terrible. I appreciate your help.
