Player Career - Can't change position/build

I have the exact same problem in career mode...  In fact when I try to change my players build, the "coach" puts me back to 1 bar (border of transfer window and sub),  

IN ADDITION to this, my customizations on stats has 0 impact on the player and stats in game.  I'm still rated 68 overall with mid 60's of "pace" even though my stats tree has been almost maxed out for speed, acceleration, dribbling, agility etc and shows that it should be in 80s/90s

These two bugs makes career player mode kinda worthless and unplayable.  Anyone find a fix to either of these?

Same here on PS5. Nothing works properly, either player career or proclubs, it gets me so mad to know I've paid money to have so many bugs and what's worse is that we're not heard at all, the only focus they seem to have is on Ultimate team

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a new career and try different positions
What happens when the bug occurs? it just seems to pick a random one. May be linked to last played clubs position.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to pick what position I want my player to be

• I wanted to play RB but it kept making me a RW. Also why have the option to change this in "edit pro" within the career if it does nothing?

I have the exact same problem I was just trying to play PCM and changing positions then after i changed it from striker to Left forward it didnt do anything Also this is happening to me on xbox one 

I have the exact same problem… why isn’t it fixed? Tried starting a new player career mode and the same problem happend…. I play on xbox series x. 

You have to change the height/weight and position in your default pro clubs caracter.
