Player career mode - Renew Contract

Which mode has this happened in? Career Mode
Which part of the mode? Player Career
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Happens after 3 full seasons are played
What happens when the bug occurs? It does not let me renew my contract with the club even though all the objectives, except an optional one, were met. It only has an option to change the club.
What should be happening instead? It should allow me to sign a new contract. Also because it says that I can sign a new contract but the only option underneath says “change club”

For translation it says “change club” in Spanish. No option to renew contract

  • I just really need to know if they will fix the “renew contract” glitch where the option to renew a contract doesn’t even show even with me doing the primary objective and missing out on “optional” objectives and because of that i cant renew and it’s irritating and i really need to know if EA will fix it at all or just leave it. The whole reason I bought the game was to play player career mode and this happens. I also cant play matches to fix it since all i have left are two international matches which dont count to the contract objectives. So will they fix this or just leave it because it isn’t something that can exploit them losing money?

    How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In squad menu with your team showing and a player highlighted... make the circular menu come up to apply a consumable.
    What happens when the bug occurs? when i apply contracts to players with the circular menu showing, it higlights the contract consumable and moves to 100% but when you do this a 2nd time straight after it does not add another contract as the menu is displaying, it quick sells the card. I have just lost a 92 rated icon zidane to this and am not best pleased. I had lost 3 or 4 others and had not noticed what had happened but based on the financial implication of what i had just spent to achieve this card i am not at all happy.
    What should be happening instead? 2 contracts should be applied rather than one contract and then the player be sold

    i have no recoveries for another 8 days and this player will drop pff the list before then.

    i want this card returned to my club and this issue sorted.

    the game is so glitchy still its an embarassment.
