Please Help: Button Configuration Issue

I'm having an issue with my custom button configuration. I normally have the legacy setting. But when I try to pick the square button as my 2nd defender press in the defensive button set up, it doesn't appear as an option. No matter what I try, it just doesn't show as an option. It lets me pick another button, but I'd like it to be the square button. Am I missing something here?
