Pro Clubs -> Edit Avatar -> "Import Face" has 20 saved versions, can't delete?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to "Clubs" from main game menu; Select "Edit Your Avatar" from main/first Pro Clubs menu; On facial customisation page, go right to the bottom of the pregen faces and choose "Import Your Face" See if multiple options exist
What happens when the bug occurs? Generally game performs terribly - trying to go through all errors, glitches or unexplained behaviour in this game in the affected mode(s).
What should be happening instead? One or no saved files - I haven't even imported a face on this version!
I used to "Import face" back in the earlier edition days when you could actually take photos and upload them to give a (very rough) approximation. Since then, like many features and aspects of this game, for whatever reason it no longer functions but is still there in the game as an option. When I go into "Edit Avatar" right on the first menu of the Pro Clubs game mode, import face has over 20 different saved versions: they go back randomly for months.
The thing is I've never edited the player's face since I first set it, only changed acessories etc. I certainly haven't made multiple new avatars and even if, let's say, every time you edit your pro no matter what change you make, it generates an entirely new face model - why don't I have the option to delete any of these many avatar imported faces? Where are they saved - if it falls under "Online Be a Pro" then obviously we can't delete the player, so is there nothing we can do? Does anyone know why this exists?
I ask because my game has a boatload of issues affecting different parts of the game - I believe much of it is connected, though its very difficult to pinpoint why or how, but I believe it ultimately boils down to licensing, saved files and saved settings, possibly country of purchase / country of console / country of subscription. Pro Clubs has been problematic and glitchy - along with Ultimate Team, Seasons, settings, etc - going back far into FIFA 23.
The game makes the same announcements every time I load it, and always says "Don't Lose Access!" and when you click X to "Learn More" it will give PS5 error WS-. Basically, you can't buy an EA Pro subscription linked to your PS account because you've already got that - but EA won't recognise it in-game (Sony forces override, I suppose, so that you can access the game, but maybe parts are locked and/or glitched as a result?) and my notice always has a link to EA USA (I'm in the UK and bought the game from the UK, and my console, and my payment info!) Anyway as many problems are linked to saved files, missing save files, inability to change settings and/or save changes, and generally lag, crashes etc, I thought it was worth going through errors in my game (there are many) one-by-one and see if anyone else has them or if anyone has any answers.
I also believe people who have terrible gameplay performance issues like me are going to share some or all of these unexplained glitches, errors, missing or defaulted settings
