PS5 Overheating in Menus

Question

I've downloaded the trial of EA Sports FC 24 but I am having significant performance issues on PS5. Any time that I'm in the FUT menus or during the HT / FT / Completed Moments menus, my PS5 fan spins up to 100% and I receive a temperature warning. In several cases, the console has just shut itself off. I do not have this issue during matches, only in the menus (likely therefore an optimisation issue I would suspect). I have cleaned the fan and heat sink (which were reasonably free of dust anyway) and the console is in plenty of free air yet I am still receiving this issue. I do not receive such an issue in any other PS5 titles (other than FIFA 23 last year) so I am confident that this is an issue specific to FIFA/EAFC.

I am getting that same message as well and my console has shut off twice.I think it really is an issue with the game itself.

Sam issue here. It is only with fc24 that this has happened to me. My consoló keeps shutting off while on the menus on fc 24. Fifa 23 and madden are fine&nbsp;

@JoshMacleod10 The game just came out in early access, so some bugs will probably be there, EA will fix it asap.

This has been happening with me since FIFA 23. And there are many more like me, who are struggling with this issue. Cleaning the PS5, changing the position, keeping it in open, tinkering with the VRR settings, nothing has worked so far. Hence, to avoid the issue, I play only for 20-30 minutes and then have to close the console for a few minutes. These Community Managers would show up once in a forum and just advice to clean PS5 without even reading the complete post, and then vanish for indefinitie period.&nbsp;
