Re: "Already have an evolution version of this player" error

• Did you discard another Evo item of that player in the past? Yes, but that shouldn’t matter as I was given no warning that this would happen.
• Error message received when you try to select the player: "You already have an evolution version of this player"
• How have you actually not fixed it? This has been going on for months. This has completely ruined the game for me as I’m doing a past and present build but can’t evo any of the players from my club. People put decent money into this game. I spent real money stupidly on that evo but never again. Do you actually care this little about your customers? Madness this hasn’t been sorted.

Another title update goes by without a fix. My Nketiah that couldn't go into an evo in February because of this now can't fit into the TOTS one.

Can't evo the players I want and this issue is already there since NOVEMBER....

I cant put my evolved relentless winger ansu fati into the new moment of truth evolution it says "You already have an evolution version of this player" even though he fits all requirements please help 🙂

@EA_LeonSK Can you also provide an update about evolution cards that are stuck in unassigned after being recovered from quicksell? Many others including myself are unable to send their evo players to club and thus cannot access the store, open packs, or purchase FC points. Crazy that I have to discard and recover the player once a week and chat support won't even add extra quick sell recoveries or even some sort of minor compensation. Please Leon, give the community SOME transparency after 5 months and 60+ pages of forum posts.

Are you able to fix the issue? Or will there just be people saying they are having trouble while nothing is going to happen?

Is there an actual time frame to this issue being resolved??

Cause it seems like it has been an issue through the Whole game cycle and now its happening to myself.

I'm trying to evolve Gabriel Martinelli in the new Premier League TOTS evo and every time i go to submit him in to it it comes up with the ''you already have an Evo version of this player'' which is completely wrong at this point all i have is the gold card im trying to submit and his Winter Wildcards Sbc card all the way back from Christmas.

Would like to see an actual solution to this problem in order to evolve him.

Any resolution before the evo expires would be Appreciated especially since this seems to be the only way to contact for help now as cannot see any chat room feature anymore.

This was EA's solution to address the chain evos people were doing early on in the beginning/mid game. Basically made the game check to see if you evo'd a player previously, so it won't let you do a new one no matter what, even if you have the evo'd player or got rid of them months ago. I wanted to do a new Ansu, but I cant.

It's why they're not going to address it, they caused the issue themselves in an update. They'd rather spend time on new store packs then try and fix any of the bugs or issues.

Please fix not being able to evo chain a player which you have discarded an evolution of in the past!

I did the first "Welcome to Evolutions" evolution this year with Gonçalo Guedes and discarded the item to fit in the founder evolution, then later I was able to put the card into Midfield Dynasty. However, now I am not able to put him in the Moment of Truth evolution even though he fits the requirements: "You already have an evolution of this player" pops up, because I discarded the Welcome to Evolutions version in the first week of this game.

Please just allow us to have multiple evolutions of one card if that is the only way to fix this issue, no way it will hurt the game!!

Will all these people be compensated if the evolutions they want to do expire ? 

I did an evo to Martinelli back in decembre, and used that evo card in an SBC later on in January. 

Now I want to evo another cold Martinelli in a new evolution why does the game still think i have the previous evolution version of the player ?

will you get the info before the evolution time runs out? if it takes to long theres gotta be some sort of comp for it. we cant be missing out on content just because you guys have a problem..

Its been 6 days now almost a week since i noticed my bug and still no resolution, is anything gonna be done about this or do i need to kiss my Martinelli evo goodbye???

@SUPER_KY3 I reported the bug for the Generous Goalscorer evolution on the 1st March with still no resolution. Countless evos have been and gone with me having to pick someone else for them. I wouldn't hold your breath this will be fixed in time.

@22ChrisF22 i get you, it is actually ridiculous that this is still a ''we are looking in to it'' issue. like come on surely if the game is saying people have other versions you can see the code of who has what card and if they still have them or not. The rules with evos made sense at the start of the game you can only have 1 version of a players evo in the club at the time but this bug (update  or whatever you wanna call it) makes it seem like once you lock a player in they are locked for rest of the game. which if this is how they wanted it to be should have been stated and or explained that way. but again stupid you see the posts of ''we investigating, will let you know more'' but then you see the evos expire and in the mean time they are adding £40 packs in to the store. would be a lot easier to get sorted if there was an actual chat room like previous games than a forum where we all have reported the bug and get told to sit and wait and spend points in the store LOL.
