Yes. It is embarrassing and also not very clever. There is a huge chunk of players who buy this game largely for career mode. Antagonizing them is not a good idea. How many of us have had enough and would move as soon as a suitable alternative came along?

I just checked, on my side the game did not crash, both starts ( first and second season ) but created players are still getting removed and bugged at the start of the second season.
@EA_LeonSKAny news on the created players being deleted or is this poor workaround considered a fix?
Heard nothing about bugged created players in any updates. Is it being investigated or not
edit: it would be nice to have this answered because many of us do not want to take your word for it and continually start new manager careers to test things that EA cannot be bothered to test themselves

This fix was related to stability issues, causing the Career Mode to crash. Regarding created players losing their stats/info moving to next season, we have already sent all your reports to the team for further investigation. We will share the information with you as soon as we get more updates.
As Soon as i go in to my current Career Mode Date and start the Game, the game crashes. I started a new Career and still on the first game the Game Crashes. Never had that problem before the new Update and didnt change anything on my PC
Same here, entering career mode without crashes.Right after , I tried to sign a player manually with cinematic and everything, je game crashes, I tried it again and again, it's the same result everytime.
Edit : apparently it's a crash linked again to created players, It also crashes when you tried to sign a real player. But it happens only if you launch a career with created players on your squad file.
So please fix all those issues, crashes, info removed linked to created players, we can't play.
While the Disappearing players is still an issue and not resolved. Infact it is impacting so many users and there have been multiple threads and cases, but see no fix from EA yet.
There is another problem of player with age as 2024 and no stats coming in Transfer Window and Youth Academy

Actually this issue is in the game since the launch, and I'm not being hyperbolic here.
Since the launch with created players in your squad file, they get removed and bugged like in the picture at the start of the second season
So will we be able to continue on the career mode that keeps crashing once it’s fixed? Or is all of our progress in those career modes ruined because of no fault of our own?
No, they said we will need to restart another career to avoid crashes.

Is the problem of disappearing created players and Junk players (with no skill and 2024 as Age resolved)?
No it's not.
It was an update to add kits tu buy in Ultimate Team.
Yup.. After the update even going to Squad Hub is crashing. Game has gone from bad to worse.
Not sure why this bug is not getting a focus (probably because it is marked resolved?).
Anyways I opened 2 separate bugs in a hope that it gets the attention :

Thought it had fixed itself for me after the 2nd season, got 3 more seasons out of it then season 5 at the end of February noticed my created player disappear then straight back into madness game popping up with error messages (also I don't have a recent save with the created player so I can't even go back & try taking I'm out the active squad) looks like FC24s finished for me this year
When will this problem with error and double players in career mode in the following second career season be fixed ? In year second the game crashes when you go into your own squad menu. Manager career mode is unplayable in year two of a career.
