Re: Controller on PC having issues

I SOLVED IT

I use EA Play Pro and my gamepad is Xbox wireless gamepad.

Before opening the game, remove all USB devices plugged into your computer. Mouse, keyboard etc. then turn on your gamepad and connect it wirelessly. And open the game via EA Play pro. That's it for the solution. I discovered this yesterday and it works!

The same problem may occur in other games you play on EA Play and the solution to this is as I wrote above. The real problem is not with the game but with EA Play.

  • I cannot do that as my games are installed on USB External Drives and I also should not have to take the drastic action of unplugging every USB device just to be able to play a new game.

EA need to sort this ridiculous state of affairs out as a matter of extreme urgency.

Last year I was unable to play FIFA 23 for months after EA's Anti-cheat update broke the game having invested a lot of money into this game.

They clearly need to undertake better product testing before updating or releasing games and this needs to be done on all platforms.

  • I do not use a Wireless Controller only a USB connected controller with the battery removed.

  • So you think it's reasonable to have to do that ?

Connect it wirelessly, in my case, is only possible through the xbox usb dongle.
