Re: Controller on PC having issues

I have found this to be a problem all over online. Controller works for menus but randomly wont work during a game. Even though when the game pauses, it reads my controller during menus. This makes it an auto loss and fc 24 unplayable. It will work for maybe 1-2 games before randomly not. I am hard wired in with an xbox controller. I bought the game through steam and have disabled "steam controller".

I cannot control my players in Rivals at all.  I can play squad battles fine and control all the menus in rivals but actually play the match... nope.

Controller is an Xbox Elite Series 2

Other USBs -  Keyboard, mouse USB dongle, headset USB dongle, bluetooth USB dongle, webcam and usb cables for recharging wireless gear.

Connected by bluetooth but I tried connecting by wire and it didn't change.

Dongle is a generic bluetooth 5.3.

Can't play rivals because I can't control players.  Repeatedly having issues in squad battles with invisible opponents.  Great QA work on this one.

glitches in the menu, freezes sometimes, makes my players unresponsive, kicks me out of games sometimes.

I have an issue with my speedlink usb controller. Every button works fine, but up goes down and down gous up.

I can't play so with the game. In windows is everything fne. I use EA app not steam.

Congratulations EA on successfully defrauding us PC players. 
The recent update for PC doesn't address this issue at all.

- I am using Xbox One Wireless controller.

- I use an official USB adapter for my controller, my mouse, keyboard, headphones, webcam, somethimes i plug the controller in, so it can charge.

- As i said earlier, i use wireless connection with official controller dongle. It works flawlessly with every other game except EA FC 24. An btw it happens if i plug the controller to the PC via USB too. 
This issue has been here since FIFA 23, it has to be fixed. I can only play squad battles or moments, in rivals it's like battling not only your opponent, but the game itself.

• Are you using Bluetooth or connected : Both, I have tried just wireless and have tried with just the charger wire also have tried with both connected at the same time not sure if that affects anything.
• If Bluetooth are you using your system or official controller dongle: Official controller dongle

  The controller works fine scrolling through the modes, transfer market, adjusting my ultimate, ETC. But the moment I enter any online game mode my controller works for 20 seconds after kickoff then BOOM gone, every control from passing to just moving the player completely stops working.  I am able to pause the game and scroll the controls and all those things, it even shows my controller in the setting connected but the moment I resume the match same issue cant do anything but pause and quit match to receive a DNF

Why is this marked as RESOLVED?!?!

WL is coming and we are all going to be bathered cuz EA haven't fixed this problem. It was happening in FIFA 23, it's happening now as well. Enjoy playing 60% of ur matches and losing almost all cuz this is unbearable.. 

I have had the same problem, i use nintendo pro controller on pc and it doesn't work on game, i have no other devices plugged in. I tried using my controller but this also didn't work for the game

@EA_Darko can you atleast give us an update on when we can expect a patch for this problem? Or should we never trust ea games in future. 

can anyone help my controller works all fine in menu but when i wanna enter division rivals its not working its glitching can anyone help WL is coming and i cant get enough points because of this bug

Like my controller works all fine in squad battles but when i start any online game mode players just dont wanna move i really wanna play the game but like can anyone fix this 

@EA_Darko It has been over 2 weeks now. Please update us whether you have identified the problem and when can we update a patch for it.

We have already provided you with details you asked us for about our controllers build.
