Re: Controller on PC having issues

I have the same issue with an Xbox elite controller (both wired and wireless).

The issue, I've found, is related to external hardware and the EA App.

I have a USB AMP/DAC that drive my headphones. When using this I get intermittent cut-out of input during menus/gameplay (may last 10 seconds or so). If I disconnect the USB AMP/DAC and use the onboard audio on my PC, the issue goes away.

This is definitely EA app related as I have exactly the same issue with Battlefield 2042. However, on Battlefield I'm using keyboard and mouse and have exactly the same issue - I lose input for a period of time intermittently. Any other non-EA games, no issue. 

I'd be interested to see if others have any external USB devices hooked up and whether unplugging all, for testing purposes, helps. I think this being controller related is potentially a red herring. Although I might be seeing a completely different issue.
