UPDATE: FIXED
What I did: rename FC 24 in documents to FC 24CS (idk why just copied instructions from a youtuber) but it works! Hope everyone is seeing this.
Since the fix I restarted my laptop once to check if it was a fluke but so far game is still running.
I renamed the folder. The youtuber is computersluggish tutorials. Hope this helps

Upon examining the video, please proceed to your documents directory. There, you should find a folder named "FC 24." Kindly rename it to "FC 24CS", then reboot your computer. Once restarted, try starting the game again. I've also attached a couple of images for you to reference the precise folder location.
If that does not work, can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with EA SPORTS FC™ 24 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.
Most of the time that error is related to GPU Drivers.

Still having this issue. I have tried all fixes on this forum with no true solution to this problem. I've seen my issue named multiple times and the solutions people are using just simply isn't helping. I tried rolling back and reinstalling my nvidia drivers, tried renaming my FC 24 folder in documents, and tried to change the VRAM options in the windows settings. I tried clearing my Direct X cache, I have cleaned my GPU driver cache, and reinstalled the game. My drivers are up to date and my system is up to date. This is after reinstalling Windows into Windows 10.

What worked for me was to go to Documents>FC 24>fcsetup.ini
Then I changed the following to 240 instead of default (60)
REFRESH_RATE = 240
MAX_FRAME_RATE = 240
Then it worked for me
I renamed the folder it worked for 3 days but now every time I launch the game it creates new fc24 folder. Please help me!
