I am currently experiencing this problem…I can’t see my ea friends online and I can’t send fut friendly invite to friends and it’s been like this for 2 days now 

but if i switch to another user on my console and open up fc24 it doesn’t have this problem

The solution posted by @EA_Barry suggests re-installation, which I'm happy to do, but don't want to lose all the progress and teams created. Just waiting for confirmation on this and will proceed if this isn't affected. 

I do not want to delete the game and the reinstall, how else can I fix this issue? It doesn't let me see my friends or invite them to co-op lobbies.

Well so far it seems the only way. However, not had confirmation that 'all' or what is kept..

You’ll need to set up your profile and game settings again, but you don’t lose any of your club / players. That’s all held on the servers. Let me know if re-installing it fixed the issue as that’s my problem at the minute but haven’t gone down this route yet.

So guys what could be the cause of this? So as to avoid anything that will make it happen again 

  What I feel is the cause could be power shortage which could corrupt the game….who thinks so as well? Because if I open another user on my console and load up fc24 it works fine(can see and invite friends) but if I log into my main the problem still persists

Yes, this happened after a power cut at my side too, so probably can’t be prevented! Deletion and re-install of the game resolved the issue for me. Back up and running.

I’m still facing this issue. I’m using a disc so no way to delete the game and install again but if there’s kindly please explain
