Hi everyone, i have also been experiencing the lag and button delay in Fifa 23 and also on EAFC24 on Playstation 5. I have fibre connection 110mb download and 34mb upload. Every second game i played had lag issues and delay was 134ms. 

Thanks to Aewynn after doing the port forwarding i noticed a difference in every game. Played 10 games and every game is 2ms delay which is amazing. I even played against someone in UK i am in Australia and the delay was still 2ms.  I played games at night and in the day both no lags. 

the ports i have opened are:

UDP 9000-9999

TCP 3569

TCP 8080

TCP 9988

TCP 9946

TCP 42124

TCP 10000-20000

also by default my router had UDP 3659 created automatically under EA Tunnel. 

i have uploaded the screenshots of each port forward. You need to make sure you open the ports on the IP Number of your console. 

Port forwarding can be found when you log into your router. Each router is different so have a look at under each section. Mine is under Network Settings>Port Forwarding.  When you are im port forwarding page click on Add a Rule then add the Ip Number of your console and the ports to forward.

I'm exhausted with everything I've tried from Fifa 23 to EA FC 24. 

Think I'm gonna call it a day with this franchise.

Just blew my million  coins and packed Popp as highest. Woohoo!

Will wait for another company to try next football game, will most likely be supported and questions/complaints answered whoever they may be unlike EA.

Try to turn off the ingame Overlay in the ea app (only PC) it fixed my problems

Remember to Restart both, your Router and your console After opening ports. 
I missed this important step myself and got. very frustrated, but After restarting both, the delay was gone, just as  described above.

Rivals is real joke rn. It is impossible to play. Even walker take 2 minutes to get even start a sprint. And how about slow down ? EVEN WORSE. 

Hey i open same ports to my Ps5 i reboot router and Ps5 same and not working :/

HEY, I OPEN same port on my ps5 after save I restart router and ps5 same and wont help. :/
