Was purchased from CDKeys, the key was succesfully redeemed via the EA App. It just continues to show as a Trial.

You will need to speak with the retailer for issues related to the code @BigDongleFlop.

I have the same. Issue is not with the key, it is properly redeemed and showed in my game list.
Problem is that EA app gives priority to the trial version and only shows that one. This EA app bug.
It's incredibly frustrating having to reiterate over and over again. The problem is not with they key! The key was redeemed successfully, it is the EA app that is the problem. The trial is what's causing the issue here yet no one is listening.

What if I purchase from unauthorized digital retailers?
Buying EA digital games from unauthorized sellers comes with a few risks. The following information can help keep you and your account protected.
Our games are sold at various online and in-store retailers across the world, but sometimes these retailers aren't all they seem to be.
Each purchase made from an unauthorized retailer carries risk. Make sure to keep your account and personal information safe:
- At best, you might get the wrong product or language version of a game you buy.
- At worst, unauthorized websites may be phishing for your EA Account or payment info. This can result in losing access to your account, or fraudulent activity with your payment details.
- It’s also possible that unauthorized retailers will sell you a fake, used, or stolen CD key or Product Code.
- Additionally, any illegally obtained games and Product Codes will be disabled by us. That means you won’t be able to play your game or redeem your virtual currencies, and we won’t be able to help you

Where did you purchase your copy of the game @gnappo78?
Darko Key is genuine, was redeemed and accepted as genuine, has not been deactivated by you, shows on my account as successful.
This is not a key issue! This is an EA app trial bug. I don't know how to say it any differently.

Hey @BigDongleFlop there is nothing more that we can do to assist.
When you use an unauthorised retailer there are risks and any issues you have you need to direct to the retailer support.

Yes, it's a bug. The proof is that if you just move the system date to tomorrow (29/9) it will show you the bought version (just exit EA app and relaunch). If you set it back to today (28/9) it will show you again the trial version. So my assumption is that tomorrow we should be able to play, unless there's one more hidden bug.
Yeah I can confirm the same issue and I removed the game and the app would not let me download it again so I changed the date to tomorrow the 29th then restarted the app and now the ea app lets me download the game so looks like a bug that will fix at 11pm tonight when the game launches
Yes of course, the retailer has domain over bugs with YOUR app. Impeccable support as always.
As others have mentioned will have to wait til launch to see if the issue is fixed.
I'm having same problem bought on ps5 only showing ps4 version and trial
PC here, I ve the same situation. I played trial, we bought keys today and I redeemed (the app says that I ve the standard edition) although I uninstalled both ea fc 24 and the EA app and then I installed the EA app again... but still the same. I am stucked with fifa 23. Can t download the 24.
