Unfortunately and much to my infuriation, I have since run into another, more serious issue. This issue has significantly impacted and ruined my gameplay experience, as well as that of many other players who have reported similar problems on various forums.
Despite following the troubleshooting steps provided, I have encountered a widespread and severe issue that is corrupting Career mode save files and ruining the game for many players, including myself. Specifically, one of the players from my team, who was a custom-created player from a squad of myself and my friends, mysteriously disappeared without any explanation.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that several other players across different forum posts have reported similar experiences. For example, after completing one or two seasons of Career mode, additional custom-created players have vanished from their squads, resulting in corrupted save files and loss of progress. How you can develop such a broken game and release this to the masses in this unfinished, rubbish and completely UNPLAYABLE manner will always baffle me.
This widespread issue is deeply concerning and has caused many of those players, myself included, to cease playing FC 24 altogether as Career mode was the main reason for us to purchase and play your game. The frustration and disappointment among the player community is clear, as we have invested time and effort into customizing our teams and trying to enjoy Career mode, only to have our progress abruptly halted by this game-breaking issue.
I urge you and I'm demanding for you to take immediate action to address this critical issue and provide a solution that restores the integrity of Career mode save files and in turn our enjoyment of this game as a whole. Furthermore, I implore you to communicate transparently with the player community about the steps being taken to resolve this issue and prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.
Please refrain from providing the generic and useless troubleshooting tips you've provided here which I undoubtedly already attempted to do on my console several times which unsurprisingly did nothing to resolve the underlying issue at hand, with the crashes and the player disappearances still happening regardless, leaving my save file in jeopardy after investing hours into player creations and gameplay.
As a loyal player and fan of the FC/FIFA series, I am hopeful that EA will prioritize the needs and concerns of its players and deliver a prompt and effective resolution to this widespread issue.

Btw, thanks to all who have contributed to this forum thread who have encountered the same issues in this car crash of a game. If anyone has any kind of solution to this that they've found and that this god-awful company have failed to provide, please feel free to share.
