It's broken for me as well. Repairing the game does nothing.

People are reporting that crashes happen after training session and games - my save file was saved after a training session, so I can't even access it.

• Does it occur in new Careers, too? No.
• Error message received: No error, just crash to desktop.

Re Installing the game made no difference 

I can’t load my player career mode , it crashes every time I select it , I’ve restarted my ps re-downloaded the game and still not working ? 

This didnt work for me, still crashes every time I load my career

@EA_LeonSK Can we expect any future updates? Should we just wait? Do you need more information?

We would really appreciate if we could get a official word on this - it's clearly not just a local issue and happening in all platforms even after troubleshooting steps.

Are topics automatically marked as solved when a community manager responds to a topic?

• Date/Time of your last save: The autosave I was using was overwritten when trying to play after the update and then it crashed so timestamp not available, but it was approximately 11 pm ET June 5 (the night before the patch)
• Does it occur in new Careers, too? No, new careers work fine, only saved careers are apparently affected
• Error message received: none, crashes to desktop after 2-3 seconds after loading/continuing player career
• Screenshots. would be my desktop, so not useful

BTW this is easily reproducible if you play your own game, so soliciting this kind of info from customers should not be necessary. As a software engineering leader myself, I'm really baffled by how issues with production software are handled by this company sometimes. This update should have been reverted, or at the very least customers should be able to use the software without being forced to update, at least when not playing online multiplayer. The policies are at least as much of a problem as software quality.

still crashing after uninstalling and reinstalling. lasted more than 10s but as soon as i tried to do training it froze and crashed. update need very soon i play the game daily - Help please

Yes. Customers should not be obliged to provide any information. The game company should take care of the functionality of the updates before putting them into general distribution.

The provided fix did not resolve the issue.

The problem consistently occurs every time I am in career mode and attempt to switch to "Agent". The game crashes immediately and exits to Windows.

As you surmised, I am playing on a PC. There is no error message or any additional information indicating what is going wrong.

The Windows Event Viewer records the following event:

Failed to obtain Origin directory

Prior to the latest update, the game was running perfectly.
