i have the same issue

I just had the same issue on FUT Squad Battles. It happened in the second half and I also could not press X to confirm quick subs.

Happened on PS4

I had the same issue yesterday evening on PS5 version. Since then I never had any problem with my settings. A restart of EA Sports FC 24 resolves the issue for some games until this issue returns ingame.

I really tried everything to fix this problem, but it seems that this problem is caused randomly by the game under certain circumstances.

Very annoying bug, which should be fixed soon!

Does anyone found a workaround to fix this problem? If yes, I would appreciate to get a understandable description.
