Restrictive matchmaking in seasons mode is not working

I've also raised a post on this issue.

I'm playing as Crystal Palace - 4* team. Today I've had Real Madrid and Man City as my opponents. This was an issue in 22, largely fixed in 23 and now back in 24.

It must be such a simple fix - if restrictive is on, just allow half a star up and down, rather than 1* which I'm assuming it is set at?

Unfortunately, I'd imagine that so many people play with 5* teams that this just isn't seen as an issue big enough to fix. It saps the fun out of it though.

@recklesstriangle I think it is totally broken. I tried a half star Team from Irish league and I still match 5 Star teams. Test it for yourself. It is not an up and down matter. BTW, I still don't like the 5 Star team evaluation. PSG this year should definitely be 7 Stars with all the Pace up front. Maybe EA needs to re-evaluated the Staring of Teams.

    @theone003 instead of trying to fix the issue, EA is going after people who bring up the restrictive matchmaking issue and banning them. shameful
